With that knowledge, you will learn how to build more effective and profitable relationships with the builders and remodelers you work with.\nAs a graduate of this course, you will be able to:\nDescribe product types, current trends and stakeholders in the residential construction industry\nContrast and elaborate on the sales and marketing functions of the residential construction industry\nArticulate the criticality and complexity of land acquisition and development\nOutline types of financial tools available to support building and remodeling projects\nAssess strategies to strengthen the relationship between suppliers and builders/remodelers\nExplain the critical path of steps in the residential construction process\nDescribe the importance of post-construction activities: closing, customer care and after-the-sale service\nAdditional Credit Information:\n6 AIBD CE: All face-to-face education provided by NAHB is approved by the American Institute of Building Design (AIBD) for continuing education units. This has culminated with him having completed three college degrees which include two within this industry. He has one for Construction Management and another one in Architectural Drafting and Design.  His learning didn’t just stop there, he attained more certification through the NAHB than anyone in the entire country, 11 in total.\nTag, along with his Architectural Design Firm, have been recognized both locally and nationally. In 2018 his company, Tag & Associates, LLC, was awarded the “Best Curb Appeal in the 1 Million to 1.5 Million Dollar” category by the Dallas Builders Association ARC Awards. He now designs homes in all price ranges and various square footages with his largest exceeding 15,000 square feet.\n\n
