DESCRIPTION:This virtual presentation will be an overview of Advanced Framing. We will discuss advanced framing practices, components, and the codes that support them. We will outline challenges, opportunities, and cost savings.\n\n\nExpert Instructor: Craig Brooks, Burgess Construction Consultants.\n\nIn 2004 Craig Brooks joined Burgess as a Consultant. In 2008 he was promoted to Division President, where he oversaw all operations of their Dallas Division. In 2021, Craig was elevated to the National Director of Single-Family Services. As a leader at Burgess, Mr. Brooks has been providing training for Burgess Consultants, Clients, and Trades. Mr. Brooks has a Bachelor’s of Business Administration Degree and has many years of experience in the construction industry. His experience ranges from building custom and production homes to multifamily projects.\nSince joining Burgess, Mr. Brooks has performed over 25,000 Inspections and has earned certifications in residential Building, Mechanical, Plumbing, Electrical, and Combination Certifications from the International Code Council. He has been a Green Provider for the City of Dallas and a TCEQ Customer Service Inspector. He has also served on the Board of Directors for Green Built Texas, been a guest speaker in the college classroom, and been featured at numerous industry events.\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n \n
