This course provides these professionals with the training skills needed to effectively use NAHB course materials to teach the NAHB Education curriculum. You will come away with concepts and tools to help you bridge the gap between knowing the information and teaching it to others.\nParticipants in this course will be able to:\nDescribe adult learning principles and how they impact training.\nPrepare to teach NAHB instructor-led, classroom courses.\nPresent information and concepts effectively in a classroom setting.\nUse questioning techniques to facilitate learning.\nConduct learning activities to provide opportunities for practical application of knowledge and skills.\nUse visual aids to support learning.\nWho Should Take this Course?\nBuilding industry professionals who wish to teach NAHB educational instructor-led, classroom courses, new trainers or experienced teachers who have had no formal education in training, or anyone who wants a refresher to improve their classroom training skills\nNAHB Designations\nThis course is required to become an approved NAHB instructor for designation courses. All face-to-face and online education provided by NAHB is approved by the American Institute of Building Design (AIBD) for continuing education units.
