As co-founder and partner at Construction Instruction (Ci), he is a recognized leader in building science education. He has educated thousands through lectures, on-site support, the Building Better Homes video series, and a top-ranked mobile app developed by his Ci team.\nHe earned a Lifetime Achievement Award from EEBA for his Houses that Work lecture series, which has been delivered across hundreds of North American cities for over 16 years. His leadership roles include serving as Building Science Co-Chair for Hanley Wood’s Vision 2020 Project and over a decade of board service to the Cold Climate Housing Research Center in Alaska.\nMark has collaborated with manufacturers to innovate energy-efficient building products and co-created Ci’s animation studio, producing state-of-the-art educational tools. He also helped design training for Habitat for Humanity’s 2012 Repair Corps Project supporting veterans’ housing.\nHis work centers on building healthy, durable, efficient homes, benefiting homeowners, professionals, and the environment.
