Weatherproofing and Flashing: A Crucial Aspect for Cladding Performance – Building a Better House

Join expert Rhondalyn Riley, President of Exterior Inspections, Inc. (TREC #6330)

Hybrid class – In-Person Location: Dallas Builders Association Office (5816 W. Plano Parkway Plano, TX 75093)

During this presentation, we will discuss the importance of the ‘unsung heroes’ of building performance, water-resistive barriers, and related flashings.  We will explore how the water-resistive barriers and flashings should be installed for successful cladding performance and building code compliance.  We will also talk about designated drainage planes, when building code requires them, and the reasons for using drainage mats or similar materials behind all claddings.
