About Tim Jackson

Tim began his long career in the homebuilding industry after graduating from Texas Tech in 1985. He spent a decade working for builders in the DFW area and would go on to start his company, Tim Jackson Custom Homes, in 1996. Over the last 30 years, Tim has been heavily in involved in every single home build from pre-construction to its completion.

Tim is a Life Director of the Dallas Builders Association (DBA) and the Texas Association of Builders (TAB) and serves on the board of the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB). He has chaired many committees and served as the president of the DBA in 2009 and president of TAB in 2016. Tim currently serves as chairman of the Texas Builders Foundation, a position he has held since 2021.

Tim has received many awards including the DBA Custom Builder of the Year in 2006 and 2010. In 2014, he was honored with the prestigious Hugh Prather Award from the Dallas Builders Association. Tim was recently awarded the J.B. Sandlin Builder of the Year through TAB for 2024. One of Tim’s career highlights occurred in 2013 when TJCH built and furnished a mortgage-free home for one of our nation’s wounded veterans through Operation Finally Home.

About Donny Mack

Donny is the President/CEO of Mack Professionals, Inc, a Texas Corporation with Beaver Builders being a primary division.  His formal degrees include an Associate’s Degree in Science and a BBA in Strategical Management, as well as studies in Marketing.  He has earned several awards for industry outreach and educatio,n including The Hugh Prather Award from the Dallas Builders Association and the Graduate Master Builder of the Year Award from the National Association of Home Builders, each given only to one builder from each association per year.  Donny has been actively involved in the NAHB education department since 1999 and is listed as a Master Instructor for their designation classes, one of only 12 instructors in the nation with this honor.

Donny started his business over 32 years ago, after spending 2 long years in management of a national retail store.  Donny and his team’s pursuit of excellence is in line with the outreach they perform both internally and externally.
