Deadline to Register to Vote in the March 3 Primary is February 2

Election season is in full swing. 2026 includes races for U.S. Senator and Governor, the Texas State Senate and House of Representatives, and key County seats.

Texas law requires eligible voters to register by the 30^th day before election day. For the March 3, 2026, Primary Election, the deadline to register is February 2, 2026.

For information on voter registration or to confirm your voter registration status, visit the Texas State Secretary’s Voter Registration webpage. In Texas, voter registration is county-based. For specific questions regarding your voter registration status, contact your county’s voter registar.

Early voting for the Primary Election begins Feb. 17.
